A trial comparing three beef stocker feeds, CFC A-Plus MSG, CFC Steady Grow and a comparative feed from a top competitor, was conducted over an 87-day period at Clover Hill East in Madison County. Three groups of cattle totaling 117 head in all were assembled randomly and assigned to one of the three feeds. All other management was constant across all groups.

Group A, fed CFC A-Plus MSG, ended the trial with an average daily gain (ADG) of 3.09 lbs. Group B, fed CFC Steady Grow, had an ADG of 2.11 lbs. Finally, Group C was fed the competitor’s feed and had an ADG of 1.6 lbs at the end of the 87-day trial. Read more about the trial here.
